Data Science Engineer - Drone Light Show

Mission

Drotek, a company engaged in designing and producing autonomous drones for light shows, is looking for a data science engineer to contribute to developing our light drone shows. Within the Design Office, you will participate in the analysis of the flight logs of our swarm drones, a crucial step to guarantee the quality of our shows and optimize maintenance.

Your tasks will include:

• Setting up a flight quality scale based on various criteria (such as vibrations, trajectory tracking error, etc.) to determine if a drone requires maintenance.
• Creating visualization tools to analyze flight logs for our entire fleet of drones.
• Developing a tool to monitor the state of drones after each flight, enabling predictive maintenance implementation

You will work closely with our software development, production, and after-sales service teams to implement these tools. The monitoring tool that you develop will be used as soon as it leaves production for test flights, as well as with our customers after each show and for after-sales service returns. Additionally, you may be required to create benchmark test shows.

Required profile

If you are an engineering student or holder of a Bac+5 master's degree, specialising in data science, and you are passionate about drones, we want to allow you to put your skills into practice in a concrete context of swarm drone flights. Your rigour and sense of initiative will be valuable assets for this position within our human-sized company. In addition, you may be required to create reference test shows.
