Drotek’s RTK GNSS Product Portfolio gets bigger with new F9P range !

Drotek completes its RTK GNSS portfolio with a new Sirius range featuring ZED F9P u-blox module. F9P high precision GNSS module handles multi-band GNSS L1/L2 which implies better estimation and correction of ionospheric interferences. Indeed, ionosphere is the layer of the atmosphere where gas molecules are ionized by UV rays coming from the sun. Therefore, free electrons may interact with the GNSS signal broadcasted by satellites causing severe delay effects. Knowing L1 & L2 frequencies do not react the same way when facing this atmospheric disturbance, delays may be virtually eliminated on the GNSS receiver side, consequently increasing GNSS RTK position accuracy.

 

Real Time Kinematic uses phase measurements of the carrier waves of signals emitted by GPS, GLONASS or Galileo systems. This technology is perfectly suited to applications such as surveillance or precision guidance. RTK also has applications for autopilot systems, civil engineering, precision agriculture and other similar applications.

The new Sirius RTK GNSS Rover F9P has a built-in active antenna patch. It is capable of interacting with the Galileo satellites network, along with GPS, Beidou, Glonass and Galileo networks, which will provide more accuracy for its positioning. F9 Sirius Rover is designed to fit most setup designs as well as easy integration into your vehicle. Its 6 pins JST-GH connector makes it plug-and-play with the Pixhawk PRO 3 autopilot.

The RTK version of the Sirius GNSS comes with ZED-F9P U-Blox module, providing 1cm position accuracy, a convergence time under 10 seconds and a navigation update rate up to 20Hz. The new Sirius RTK GNSS F9P Base is a lightweight and high precision multi-band gnss based on u-blox ZED-F9P (GPS / GLONASS / BeiDou / Galileo). 

The F9P RTK GNSS Base is made to provide the most reliable base module possible. Featuring an active antenna, it is the best module to provide your system with an accurate and powerful base module. It has integrated rechargeable batteries so it can be used as stand alone module without an external power supply, and a built-in jack connector to recharge these batteries.
